Jes Sardi

A Storyteller From Argentina, to SanJo and Beyond

Originally from Argentina, Jes Sardi's journey through Mexico began over ten years ago. Her path took her to Mexico City and then to the tranquil beaches of Tulum, where she fell in love with the ocean and the warmth of the people. However, as Tulum rapidly transformed, Jes sought a place that still offered the peace and small-town charm she longed for. Her instincts led her to San José del Cabo, a decision she describes as one of the best of her life. The kindness and openness of the local community confirmed she had found her new home.

As a photographer, Jes has found a way to give back to her community by collaborating with local, up-and-coming brands. She helps them establish a visual identity through her photography, whether it’s for eco-friendly skincare lines or yoga teachers. Her talent lies in capturing the simplicity and authenticity of the moment, creating images that tell a story without artifice.

Living in Cabo has allowed Jes to grow both personally and professionally. The region’s natural beauty and the quality of the people she’s connected with have provided endless inspiration. Through her lens, Jes highlights the unique charm of Cabo’s landscapes and its diverse inhabitants. “What makes Cabo special for me is its diversity—not just in landscapes, but in people. I’ve connected with people from all over the world here, and that fills me up.

What makes Liza’s approach to fitness special is her Jes’s daily routine has evolved since moving to San José. What might seem like a sleepy town to some has given her the discipline to embrace an early start, waking up at 5:30 AM to watch the sunrise while exercising. Afterward, she spends her mornings editing photos or catching up on work before heading out for afternoon photo shoots or enjoying social plans. Jes values her time in nature, whether it’s a hike, a trip to the beach, or simply watching the sunset. She also takes time for meditation and astrology classes to keep her mind and spirit engaged.

Her advice for a healthier, more mindful life? "Connect with nature and your spirituality whenever you can. Get out there and experience life—don't stay glued to the screen all day." It's a reminder that she gives herself as well as her community.

When it comes to hidden gems in Baja, Jes has a special place in her heart for El Cañón de la Zorra, with its stunning waterfalls tucked away in the middle of nature. It serves as a constant inspiration to live more in the moment and unplug from the digital world.

Jes’s photography isn’t just about taking pictures—it’s about connecting with her subjects and telling their stories in the most authentic way possible. Through her camera, she captures the true essence of the people and landscapes that make Cabo so special.

“Photography is my way of helping others share their stories, and it’s my way of connecting more deeply with this beautiful place I now call home.”

Jes’s work is more than just photography—it’s about preserving memories, capturing moments of authenticity, and showcasing the vibrant spirit of Baja California Sur.
